So I'm watching Bernanke testify in front of the House Budget Committee, and during the Q&A a congresswoman on a vitriolic tirade against securitization asked Bernanke what he was doing when he was CEO of Goldman Sachs? Bernanke responded that she had the wrong guy. She said well where were you then? He said he was CEO of Princeton's Economics Department. I love it.
I wish this was the worst buffoonery demonstrated by by the questioners, but sadly it was not.
